Daniel Chong is a two-time Annie Award winner and the creator of the Emmy-nominated animated series, "We Bare Bears," produced by Cartoon Network Studios. In 2018, "We Bare Bears" won its first Annie Award in the Best Animated Television/Broadcast Production for Children category followed by a Jury Award for a TV Series at Annecy. "We Bare Bears" also won the International category in the 2016 British Academy Children’s Awards.

Chong won his first Annie Award for his storyboarding work on Pixar’s first television special, "Toy Story of Terror!" His additional credits include Pixar’s "Inside Out," "Cars 2," and Disney Feature Animation’s "Bolt." Chong is the co-producer of the popular web blog "MY MILK TOOF," which was published into a book with Chronicle Books in 2011. A native of Southern California, he has a BFA in Illustration from Cal State Long Beach, and has attended CalArts.
