Michael McKean

Michael McKean has been at it, whatever it is, for a long time. In the early seventies, he joined David L. Lander, Harry Shearer and Richard Beebe in LA’s satirical "Credibility Gap." Lander & McKean went on to complicate the lives of "Laverne & Shirley" on TV. Films followed: "Young Doctors in Love," "This is Spinal Tap," "Clue," "D.A.R.Y.L.," "Light of Day," "Planes, Trains & Automobiles," "Coneheads," "The Brady Bunch Movie," etc. Collaborations with Christopher Guest abound and will hopefully continue. McKean and his wife, Annette O’Toole were Oscar-nominated for best song, “A Kiss at the End of the Rainbow” from "A Mighty Wind;" McKean took home a Grammy for the title tune (written with Eugene Levy & Guest). Recent work: "Better Call Saul," "The Good Place," The Cooking Channel’s "Food: Fact or Fiction?" and for all you armageddon fans, the upcoming "Good Omens."
