Samantha Gilweit

Samantha Gilweit is a single mother, comedian, musician, and failed pig farmer currently living in Richmond, California. One day, she asked herself, "What makes less money than pig farming?" and began a career in stand up comedy.

Since that humble beginning, Samantha has performed naked for a sold out crowd in New York City, was on the pilot episode of "Swerved," a prank show for professional wrestlers on the WWE network, and has been featured in the Wall Street Journal for being one of the first comedians to perform in virtual reality.

Currently, Samantha performs regularly at Cobbs, the Punch Line, SF SketchFest, and produces the Sunday showcase at "Cheaper Than Therapy" at the historic Shelton Theater in downtown San Francisco.

She currently performs with two different comedy musical acts, "The Satan Sisters," a satanic folk trio, and "HausPlants," a pop punk band sent by the goddess Gaia to rock the earth. Her music can be found on Bandcamp and Pandora Radio.
